Barely holding on in the East...A pair of losses to the Blazers, one close and the other a blowout and they were without Nicola for that one...FML

Fell to second in the east...Can't stay Healthy...Didn't have Mookie for any of the sim and didn't have DRob or Penny for the 2nd half of it...started of 4-0 ended up 6-2...Not bad for 3 starters being out...The Celtics and Blazers are awfully good though

Fell to second in the east...Can't stay Healthy...Didn't have Mookie for any of the sim and didn't have DRob or Penny for the 2nd half of it...started of 4-0 ended up 6-2...Not bad for 3 starters being out...The Celtics and Blazers are awfully good though I swear if you even lay a finger on Mullin he misses a game...He missed last sim due to injury, comes back and in his second game back gets a JAMMED FINGER AND CAN'T PLAY?!? WTH is that...get over it you wimp, hell, I bet I had a jammed finger in half the games in high school and the only time I missed a game was because I sprained my ankle so bad they made me wear a boot for to weeks....(It broke after four days, apparently, playing basketball in a boot is not a good idea, and I came back after a week, I was not missing Senior Day....most annoying thing in my life, cause I had to wear it 24/7, they said if I didn't I could finish off the tendons....best part though is I injured myslef the morning of a game, couldn't lift my ankle, imagine standing straight up and down and trying to lift the front of your foot with everything you got and being unable too, yet I played in the game that night, wasn't til the issue hadn't gone away two days later that I figured I better go get it checked out. Then I had to wear an ankle brace for any athletic activity for a year, it never fully healed either...still really stiff....) |

Sound like me senior year...I tore the tendon in my thumb snowboarding on winter break...It made the thumb useless...I literally could not use it...I'd try to pick up a glass or something and it would slide right out cause there was no tendon to use to work my thumb...It was the most painful thing I have ever dealt with, one little touch of it on anything was absolutely excruciating...But I wasn't missing my senior year of basketball or Golf so I never went to the doctor or trainer or nothing...Never taped it just went on playing...I remember just bumping it against my thigh while I was walking and almost falling over in pain...So after making it through both seasons I finally went to the doctor, he sent me to a specialist over at sacred heart...I get to my appointment she plays with it for a second, has me do an x-ray while pushing my thumbs against each other and then when she see's it says...When'd you do this(It's June now mind you) and I said mid december...She just gave me a blank stare like holy shit are you serious and like I don't believe you...She then looks to my dad and he said yup...She was dumbfounded...It was funny...She ended up doing surgery on it a week later...They took a tendon from my forearm and put it in there...It works pretty well now...not a whole lot of range of motion and very stiff still and it's been 6 years
