if you guys know anyway of repairing a xbox 360 game please tell me thx. another option would be to go to the local video store and rent that same game and then swap out your busted copy...it happens to us all the time

if you guys know anyway of repairing a xbox 360 game please tell me thx. another option would be to go to the local video store and rent that same game and then swap out your busted copy...it happens to us all the time good idea but i would feel kind of guilty when the person that rented it after had a screen that said "disc could not be read" that would suck! but thx 4 the idea. i think im just gonna have to go to my local video game store and have them repair it. hopefully its not expensive.

i just got red rings too. you have to open it up and when you get all the way inside there are 4 little styrofoam things in the very middle. They get burnt out easy and that causes the problem. You need to get 3 pennies and tape them together with electrical tape and make sure they are totally covered by the tape. Then use strong electrical glue if possible and glue the taped pennies where the crappy styrofoam used to be. Do that in all 4 corners and close it back up and it should be good to go. I would either look it up online or print off the steps and take it to someone you totally trust with electrical equipment. It takes about ten minutes total and saves you either a hundred bucks of going into a store

i promise this isnt some fake thing it works for al my old old games i leave out. take cream cheese and a paper towel and rub it all over the back the disk then wipe it off. then it always works. saved a few of my favorite games (timesplitters, ncaa bball 2002)
