I might take the Raptors if someone explains to me the unprotected player thing, but if it's the roster they have now then I'll take the Rockets.

At the end of the season we do an expansion draft. Each team will get to protect 8 players from their roster who are under contract. The rest of the players need to be sent to me via PM and then I'll make a draft board and grizz and raps will flip a coin for a snake style draft of those players. You can draft till you get 15 players if you wish but a minimum of 10 is needed.
IF a player is on his last year of his deal ending in the 1995 season he is included in the protection.
Say you have 5 players on their last year of their contracts. Those 7 players are included and you can save 8 more. So thus you'd only need to allow 2 players to be drafted.
All possible FAs won't go into the draft pool. Raps and Grizz will need to bid on them just like everyone else

Ok, and what about the regular draft, what selection will the Raptors receive in that?

they will be getting 6 and 7 like the NBA stated.
The team who wins the coin flip can choose to pick 1st in the draft or pick first 1in the expansion draft.

Ok. Since you dont have a team yet, just get an avatar. And I guess sit tight. Playoffs start in about 2 sims so you should be picking players within 3 days.
