I like his stimulus package, I think it's better in the long run, but Bush screwed up this country so bad it'll take a while to get this country back on its feet. He's certainly more capable than Bush, and has a better idea of what the hell he's doing. I also like that he's pulling out of Iraq and Afghanistan, not necessarily for the right reasons, but we're getting out. We've spent more money and time on rebuilding those countries we've lost sight of how important it is to take care of our homeland. Especially with the threat of North Korea attacking us (which would be straight up stupid on their part) We wouldn't want our forces to be spread too thin.

Last time i checked we're not pulling outta Afghanistan, but rather increasing troops. To me Osama is clearly dead so its kinda pointless. But i guess it kinda makes sense to try to control the taliban, but its really not our problem for some reason our country thinks we have to fuck with every other country and that everything is our business. I like obama on social issues, but fiscally i think he is mislead. Saying he's better than bush is basically saying hes better than dirt. doesnt mean much. it will be interesting to see how the economy will be in about 3 years. In the early 90's japan went thru a similar economic downturn and they implemented a stimulus and recovery plan and they are just about to half of what the value of their economy was and its been almost 20 years. Failure is part of capatalism and ever since Reagan we have never let any big business fail. It will catch up to us. Business's have to fail in order for capatalism to function. Personally i don't like capatalism, but as long as we have it we at least have to let it function rather than playing with it and its natural phases.

Bush, Obama, and Mcain are all pretty much the same. Obama would have made a lot of the same decisions Bush did if he was in office at that time and I think Mcain would have done similar things that Obama has done so far.
After taking American government, political theory and political science classes I realized are government is a joke. There are conflict of interest at every level in our government. Money, perceived perception, and personal agendas are the driving force behind our politicians not the well being of the American people.
