What exactly does potential mean? Under the Fa's section..there is a 35 year old player with A potential. I dont understand this...what exactly is it?

Every player has a hidden potential (real) that only those whit the game can see (and have league file aka commishes). Every player also has a scouted potential, which is what you see. Many times scouted would equal real (A would have a tendency to be higher in potential, B lower, C and so forth). Of course there may be steals, such as a guy with C having high potential or B being near an A. The lower the scouted, more than likely the lower the real potential. If he is 35, more than likely A is more like D or F.

Generally younger players with A or B are mostly right. Although once in a while some guys will be surprises..
