I feel very giving after seeing Aaron Brooks torch the lakers and then see him on SportsCenter with the bow tie.
If you get this thread to 1,500 posts by Wednesday I will give everyone a plus 5 point count who posted more than 35 times in the thread.

#1 I'm down...AB was unreal today...He showed that he's a true starter and scorer in this league...I just wish he would have hammered that dunk down on the alley-oop

I wonder if the blazers ever had a chance to get AB. A good PG like Aaron is what the blazers need to get to a Championship. I can't wait to see how Bayless turns out.

#2 They had I believe 2 picks late in the first round that year in which they passed on AB. I'm not really sure why they did...It makes sense to keep a hometown kid home...And I can't imagine that if they are sold on Bayless' PG skills that they weren't on Aaron's? ?

Brooks' isnt a point guard really. Hes more of a scoring point/shooting guard. For him to do well he needs to be surrounded by another player who's good at handling the ball too, and then he also needs some good defenders on the wing with him. If the Rockets didn't have Battier and Artest he'd be exposed.

#3 He kinda was exposed in game 3...They just got of too a hot start in game 4 so LA couldn't settle back in to what they were doing...And they had figured out how to guard Houston with Yao but now they have to figure it out all over again

I guess so. I'll do my best. I think we should all post our favorite current duck to get that mark up. Mine right now Holland. He hasn't done much but even last year on NCAA 09 I would make him my#1 receiver and he got like 2400 yards and heisman. I think LaMichael James will make everyone say Jacquizz who? by the end of the year as well.

I'm feeling kinda partial to Eddie Pleasant...I think he looks tight with the #11...It's just not a linebacker number which makes it cool for some reason to me...And obviously Jamere...He's like our very own DeSean Jackson...He's gonna open so much up for Ed Dickson

Very true about Holland opening up Dickson. I also think that you can't single cover him just cause of his speed being such a threat. That will leave Dickson with more lanes over the middle but also push back their safeties which will give our RB's more space in the open field.

Yeah...It's just too bad our o-line is so inexperienced...We could be so good this year but there is gonna be some mighty big struggles up front

It is a bit strange that we are so deep at some positions(LB, CB, WR) yet seem so thin at others like DL, OL and RB

Well we're not really thin on the OL we were just very fortunate to have healthy guys the last few years so there wasn't spots for people to get starts and reps...The D-line on the other hand is thin thin thin
