doesn't make a lot of since to me. why trade away your picks for an aging veteran with a bad contract when your not a playoff team?

He's only 28, he's not that old. Secondly he is putting up 12-10 and he's 4th/5th on the scoring end. He's probably going to average around 18-12 the rest of the year.

Maybe not a playoff team this year, but with young talent and a good draft, add a piece or two when Ho Grant is your third or 4th best player on your team he's a great defensive veteran to have on your team.
