Strengths: Montross is a solid scorer down low and shows some surprising athletic ability from time to time. Solid rebounder. Good low post defender. Won't get into foul trouble. A player who achieves more because of his IQ and not because of his talent.
Weakness: Not very quick. Outside shot needs work. Not going to block many shots. Not a good passer when double teamed or even against aggressive defender.
[/u]Scout's Take[/u][/b]: Montross will never be a star in the league even though he is a two time All-American and champion at the college level. He has almost maxed out his potential. That said, he should be able to come in and help a team as their 7th or 8th man off the bench and give good minutes down low.
