Welcome to the 1994 NBA Draft Press Conference. We have a good collection of talent here seated behind me who have all been thinking about entering the NBA draft this season.
I'd like to welcome Jason Kidd, Yinka Dare, Glenn Robinson, Chris Webber, Donyell Marshall, Antonio McDyesse and Anferne Hardaway.
All seven players behind me have put in the request a to be included in this press conference. Keep in mind that the deadline to enter the draft however is still a week away so there could be more entries to this draft. That said these seven have been the players who have talked about coming out early.
Each player will be holding a session very shortly. Stay tuned.

JK: Thank you for taking the time to be here. I'd like to thank commish Mops and the NBA for putting on these meeting and allowing me to make my plans known here.
It was a hard choice as I love college and my friends at Cal. We have a great shot to make a deep run next year and that really makes me excited. I feel like I can still improve my game at Cal.
With that said, I think its in my best intention to enter the draft. I'm ready. Get ready to see a new style of point guard. I still need a lot of work but I feel ill get that help at the nba.

Thank you commishinor. I would like to thank the NBA and all the media to meet here and let all us players give our stance on our position for the draft.
To be honest. I want to come back to college. I love it. It is everything I envisioned it to be and I also told my mom that I would stay all 4 years and get my degree and then I would be set as a grown man after playing ball was over.
This was such a touch decision to come to that I needed to pray, meet with my parents, my coaches, and just reflect on life.
I love my teammates man, I just couldn't leave them. There was just too many guys I love back at Memphis that I couldn't leave the hanging.
Then my high school coach called me up a few hours after I told him I was staying and he wanted to make sure it was what I wanted. I thought I did, but then I got a call from Memphis saying they'd allow me to take classes away from campus and while on the road as long as I was able to pay for a tutor and then give a certain amount of my salary to the athletic fund.
That really threw a curve ball and I had to make a tough choice.
So I have come to the conclusion that I can achieve all I want in getting my degree while on the road from city to city and my teammates will be by my side in spirit and when the season's over I am bringing them to my house and forming a tight unit!
I am officially throwing my hat into the 1993 draft.

Damn that sucks...in real NBA its during the playoffs? Maybe change it up..i guess we'll just wait.
