Strengths: Smith can play good defense down low as he is very athletic. Capable of playing the 4 and the 5 well. Inside offense is also a plus. Very strong dunker and has a solid jumper.
Weakness: Smith needs to improve his jump shot from outside the key. He has the form down, just needs the reps. He could also use some strength and conditioning if he wants to play the PF or C spot at an All-Star level. Slight turnover prone.
Scout's Take: Scouts love Smith's potential as they feel he could be just as good as Chris Webber in last year's draft. Has a bit of an ego problem and there is also concern of a holdout if Smith isn't taken in the top 3. None the less Smith is warranted of the 1st pick.
