oot and aboot in Vancouver
The NBA league office has seen the power of having a team or two north of the boarder and has settled on two cities in Canada to begin the expansion of the league to a global league. The first city was announced earlier today and it your very own home town, Vancouver B.C. the team to be created will be called the Grizzlies. The second team/city is still under discussion but sources believe that it is between Montreal and Toronto. The two new franchises will begin with a creation draft at the close of this NBA season where they will take turns selection players who have not been protected by the other 27 teams until the 12 man roster is full. Both teams will also have a high number of ping-pong balls in the lottery and will hope for a chance to snag one of the studs in this years draft class.
The script logo has been revealed and the colors of your new team will look like this:
