Strengths: Stoudamire is one of this year's best outside shooters. Has a great feel for his shot out almost to 30 feet. Unlimited range. Better than average defender for his size. Very fast and has room to bulk up.
Weakness: Very small for an NBA guard. Can get too fancy with his dribbles and passing. Forces a lot of passes. Might be turnover prone early in his career. Shoots too much at times. Liable on defense.
Scout's Take: Scouts love Damon. He's a pure PG who can score outside. His defense is a tad of a concern but some GMs actually think he could be a good one down the road if a team can harness his speed on defense. Top 7 pick.
