I'm still a little confused about this. Mostly with the timing. When will this happen? mid season after weak 6? At the end of the season? and what if my roster changes can I change who I protect? and what about those free agents who ask to resign with me. Do I need to protect them in advance just encase? or is it a freebie?

so the expansion draft will be held right before the rookie draft right?
the deadline for this should be right after the trade deadline. otherwise lists being posted here are gonna keep on changing, making it harder for mops to keep track of them.
