Looking over the rules Zyme posted, even if you have less than 8 players you still must leave at least one player unprotected.
"Each current NBA team can protect up to 8 players from its active, injured and suspended lists as of the last day of the season; provided that each current team must leave at least one player unprotected."

ya we are going to have to restart this. I was looking for the rules but couldnt find them and then Zyme did. So we shall change it. I'll lock this and post a new one.
